We are proud of you, Ms. Handy!

Joyce Handy was recently admitted to Magnolia Manor Greenville after a short hospital stay for Covid and respiratory distress. Upon admission, Ms. Handy was very weak and had significant balance deficits during standing. She was only able to walk short distances with physical assistance.

 Joyce was on isolation precautions for 10 days prior to being cleared to come down to the therapy gym for physical and occupational therapy services. Ms. Handy worked very hard while on isolation and when able to come to the gym and made improvement in all areas of self-care and mobility. She was able to return to her group home at independent level with the use of a rolling walker. We are pleased of her progress and know she will continue to improve! Thanks Ms. Joyce!
